NEW SLACKBOARD 30min. BALANCE CLASSES
A Slackboard is your own personal slack line. It looks like a short snowboard and has a taut 3" nylon strap from end to end to do balance exercises on. In this class we will be working on strengthening and stretching our lower body, focusing on our feet, ankles and toes. We will be doing a lot of one legged standing exercises (and some on both feet!) using the Slackboard and a variety of other balance props. Poles will be provided for additional support as needed. All are welcome, no experience necessary. Class is limited to 5 participants.

Updates for FEBRUARY 2026
CLASS UPDATES: The Friday 12:30pm Slackboard Balance class has been moved to Saturday mornings, 9-9:30am. The previously scheduled Saturday Slackboard MAT class is postponed until there's further interest. The Slackboard Balance class is also offered on Tuesday evenings, 5:15-5;45pm. Please see the info below and come join a balance class - no experience necessary!
*REMINDER: Red Hook Pilates has a STANDARD 24 hour cancellation policy. Sorry, no exceptions.
*NEW RESCHEDULING FEES: If you have scheduled a class or private/semi-private session and need to reschedule outside of the 24 hour cancellation period, there is a $5 fee for class changes and a $10 fee for private/semi-private sessions.
